What to Do in a Power Outage
People tend to become bewildered the instant their electricity goes off. But there is no need for this. First of all keep calm and determine what the situation is. If the power has stopped in your residence only, you may be able to turn it back on very simply - just by operating a breaker on the panel board.

First, look about at the close neighborhood Power is on in the neighboring residences- it's only off in your residence Check the safety breakers and the ground fault circuit interrupter Power is off in the neighborhood too Contact Chugoku Electric Power They are turned off (in the down position) They are not turned off Disconnect the equipment you were using It turned off again Push the breakers' switches upward and see what happens.
(Some of the breakers' switches may not have moved fully down. Pull such switches fully down before pushing them up.)
