Message Energia Economic and Technical Institute of the Chugoku Electric Power Co., Inc. was established in June 2005 by the integration of the previous Economic Research Center and Technical Research Center. With making use of the effect of the fusion of economics and technology, we will try to new research theme and create useful results. In addition, we will be engaged in the research based on the needs of our customers and the regional communities. Due to the de-regulation of electricity, we believe that there will be more competition and increase in business opportunities in the field of energy supply. Within such circumstances, we will concentrate our efforts to fundamental research which is necessary for continued development and commercial research which contributes to the Chugoku Electric Power Group. Energia Economic and Technical Institute will play its roles as a research institute of Energia group. Economical and technical development of regional communities and companies are important for the Chugoku Electric Power Group. We will promote our collaboration with industry, university and government, and also cooperate in technical development for regional community. Based on our research results and know-how, we aim to become a research institute indispensable for the community.
