August 1962 The Industrial Survey Team was integrated with the Technical Research Institute to form an integrated reserach institute. November 1963 A new main building of the institute was built at Ozu, Hiroshima City.   February 1969   The Industrial Economic Division was spun-off as the Economic Research Institute. September 1994 The Technical Research Center (the above institute changed its name in June 1991) moved in Higashi-Hiroshima City.   June 2005 The Energia Economic and Technical Research Institute was founded.(The Economic and Technology Research Institutes merged.)
